He was predeceased by: his mother Kay F. Cooper Wood; and his brother Jeffrey P. Wood. He is survived by: his father Dan H. Wood of South Bend; his wife Bethany A. Wood (Kemble); his children, Rachel Freeman (Ryan) of South Bend, Amanda Grinnis (Josh) of South Bend, Ronald "Tony" A. Wood, Jr. (Angela) of South Bend and Aaron Wood (Rachelle) of Highlands Ranch, CO; his grandchildren, Cailin, Akira, Sonja, Brandon, Nathan, Noah, Aiden, Joel, Gianna, Jacob and Abigail; and his siblings, Renee Levenson (Andrew) of Bloomington, IN, Gregory Wood (Theresa) of South Bend, Douglas Wood of South Bend and Michael Wood (Shawna) of Grove City, OH. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
