She is survived by: her husband Gregorio Chavez Jr.; her children, Greg Chavez, Carlos Chavez, Cathy DeRue (Greg), Teresa Valtierra (Lupe) and Gerri Mahoney (John); and her siblings, Helen Garza and Daniel Garza.
