He was predeceased by: his parents, Cannie Fox and Idella "Della" Grady-Fox (Grady); his siblings, Earl Fox, Lois Miller, Ida McCoy, Kate MacDonald, Roy Fox, Joe Scott, Tommy Fox and Levi Fox; and his son Sonny Lamar Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Alzada; his children, Maurice Phillips (Tyka) of Texas, Rodney Phillips (Regina) of Indianapolis, IN, Cynthia Fox of Dallas, TX and Regina Jones of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Herman Fox of Stockton, CA, Helen McCoy (Bobby) of De Kalb, MS and Nora Fox of Stockton, CA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
