With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sydney Lee Anderson of South Bend, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Irwin and Leona Irwin (Sellers). She is survived by: her husband David Anderson; her daughters, Kathy Stark (John) of North Charleston, Sally Zimmerle (Barry) of Granger and Betsy Anderson of New York; her grandchildren, Morgan Anderson (Jen), Megan Anderson, Kayla Grove (Chris), Nichole Spurgeon (Zach), J. D. Padrnos, Katie Padrnos and Nathaniel "Bip" Padrnos; and her great grandchildren, Ben, Margot Anderson, Liam, Noah, Amelia Grove, Declyn and Talyn Spurgeon.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park (375 W Cleveland Rd, Granger, IN 46530).
