He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Rettig and Alvera Rettig (Grau). He is survived by: his wife Shari Rettig (Baumann); his stepchildren, Rick Baumann (Jan) of Byron Center, MI, Scott Baumann (Jocelyn) of Portland, OR and Suzanne Stout (Tom) of Elkhart, IN; his stepmother Dorothy Rettig; his grandchildren, Jay Baumann, Alex Haney, Kevin Baumann (Caroline), Katherine Baumann and Spencer Baumann; and his siblings, Kathy Burton (John) of Roanoke, IN, Barbara Lichtenberger (Thomas) of Noblesville, IN, Connie Lynn of Defiance, OH, Timothy Rettig (Cindy) of Defiance, OH and Mark Rettig (Patricia) of Streetsboro, OH. He is also survived by aunt and uncle, and several nieces and nephews.
