He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maria Guadalupe Mireles and Manuel Rivera Garcia; his nephew Ernesto Starling; his brother-in-law Bobby Gonzalez; his grandparents, Eulogia and Ernesto Mireles; his father-in-law Ronald Griffin; his wife Lisa Yishaba Rivera; his mother-in-law Sedira Griffin; his stepchildren, Michael Anderson of South Bend, Danielle Griffin of Indianapolis, Alicia Cleveland of South Bend and Bryan Griffin of South Bend; his grandchildren, Akeenan, Vena, Tiana, Michael Jr., Marshawn, Anaiyah, Isabella, Renee, Bryanna, Brylee, Bryan Jr. and Lebron; and his siblings, Maria Del Socorro (Rick Adams), Paula Sours (Tom), Felipa Martinez, Jesusa Rivera, Savino Rivera (Elena), Agrora Anderson (Ronnie), Olga Mersich (Marty), Lupe Rivera, Pavlo Rivera and Camelia Gonzalez. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.
