With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Christine Monahan of South Bend, Indiana, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf Gustafson and Martha Gustafson (Carlson). She is survived by: her sons, Mike Monahan (Sue) of South Bend, Tom Monahan (Jena) of Sellersburg, IN, Bill Monahan (Jayne) of South Bend and Don Monahan (Pam) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Vera C. Monahan may be made to the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County, 2222 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46613.
