It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max L. Hilligoss (South Whitley, Indiana), born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur G. Hilligoss and Dorothy M. Hilligoss (Marshall); his wife Dolores C. Nix; his daughter Sandra "Sue" Bryan; and his siblings, Robert Hilligoss and Miriam Burkhart Rice.
He is survived by : his children, Carolyn Fisher (Stanley) of Pleasant Lake, Nancy Josephson (Steve) of Los Angeles, CA and John Hilligoss (Deb Gerig) of South Whitley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Masses or St. Catherine's Catholic Church Preservation Fund.
