He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Gentry and Opal Gentry (White); and his sister Yvonne Barker. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Patricia Bault; his wife Patricia Gentry; his daughters, Kara Gunderman (Daniel) and Aimee Baker (Sam); his grandchildren, Zachary Gunderman (Clairissa) and Kennedy Gilreath (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Izzy Gilreath and Owen Gunderman; and his sibling's children, Chris Barker, Eric Barker and LeeAnn Hallman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McCorrmick's Creek Pentecostal Church or Alzheimer's Association.
