He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Maurice and Esta May Paul (Sanders); his siblings, Faye Harmon (Homer), Verna Sexton (Floyd) and Donald Hawkins (Kathleen); and his brother-in-law Phillip Galyan.

He is survived by: his sisters, Wanda Galyan, Ann Miller and Linda Latimer (Russell).
