He was predeceased by: his mother Melissa J. Smith; and his grandfather Paul Blacklidge. He is survived by: his children, Jaymeson Mercer and Karma Mercer; his siblings, Tonya Mercer of Tennessee, Jessica Mercer of Spencer and Zackery Smith; and his siblings' children, Elijah Gee, Bryce Mercer, Emma Truax and Hayden Perryman.
