He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Cottier and Ruby Gardner. He is survived by : his sons, Michael and Jamie Cottier (Emily); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Amaya, Carter, Emberly and Reagan Cottier; his siblings, Howard Cottier (Linda), Debbie Etnyre and Cheryl Blain; his niece Rachael Gramajo; and his sister Nikki Kennard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA and the Parkview Cancer Center.
