Donald R. Nixon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Nixon of Springport, Indiana, born in Oakville, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville J. Nixon and Edith M. Nixon (Anderson); his grandson Jeremy Thompson; and his siblings, James, Walter, Glen, Imogean Felton and Virginia Slocum.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma (Young); his children, Margarett, Brenda and Lonnie (Melinda); his brother Lewie; and his nephew Donny Joe Oliver. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
