He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Unger and Ethel McComas Unger; his former wife LaDonna Beard Unger; his son-in-law Jeff Wamsley; and his siblings, Jimmy Unger, John Unger, Cloral Unger and Helen Gleason.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kearschner Unger; his children, Clifford Duane Unger Jr. of Rockport, David Unger (Sherri) of Sullivan and Bonita Wamsley of Sullivan; his stepdaughter Cindy Davidson of Paris; his grandchildren, Jonathon Unger (Meg), Jerreme Unger (Gloria), Derick Unger (Heather), Corey Unger, Jade Katinas (Chris) and Jacob Wamsley (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Valentina, Mary Ann, Samuel, Madelyn and Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
