He is survived by: his wife Joy Hancock Schofield of Sullivan; his son John Joseph Schofield; his stepchildren, Dale Mahurin (Julie) of Terre Haute, Jerry Mahurin (Delta) of Sullivan, Terri Mahurin of Pimento and Mary Mahurn-Miller (Gene) of Sullivan; his siblings, Christopher Schofield (Elaine) of Ohio, Mark Schofield (Carole) of Maryland, Jeannie Garro of Arizona and Sally Watson (John) of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Schofield of Ohio and Keith Knott of Florida. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and Buddy.
