He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard George Barish and Grace Cantwell Barish; his daughter Florence Veronica Grier; his grandson Benton; and his brothers, Richard and Dennis Barish.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Davison Barish; his children, Leonard Barish III of Sullivan, Phillip Barish of Sullivan, James Barish of Terre Haute, Kay Meadows (David) of Shelburn and Ann Morgan (Nick) of Carlisle; his siblings, Michael Barish (Carol) of Louisiana, Joe Barish (Karen) of New Jersey and Sue Shaffer (Bill) of New Jersey; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Barish of New Jersey and Marianne Barish of New Jersey. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
