With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry L. Jacobson of Taylorsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jacobson and LaRee Jacobson; and his siblings, Lance Harper, Doug Harper, Mark Jacobson, Terry Eileen Harper and Patrisha Harper Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jacobson; his children, Harper Grace Jacobson, Matthew Jacobson (Kelsey), Christy Reed (Jerry Jr.), Kirsten Poff (Krystal) and Casey Mathis (Justin); his grandchildren, Brooks, Ella Jacobson, Nathaniel, Braxton Cowan, Jerry III, Natalie, Kaydentz Reed, Shyann Poff, Mackenzie, Mason, Maddox, Micah and Mathis; and his siblings, Carolyn Harper Rorie, Suellen Harper Ison, Nancy Anne Harper, Lillice Harper Hartley, Mary Elaine Haley Thomas (Jerry), Genee Jacobson Wilson (Loren) and Nanette Jacobson Garmon (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
