With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Fischer of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Leopold Fischer and Ella Fischer (Freeman); and his siblings, Luke Fischer, Charles Fischer, Robert Fischer, Jim Fischer, Martha Hoover, Elouise "Bo" Paulin, Tony Fischer and Rose Johnson.

He is survived by : his caregivers, Louann Oberhausen, Laura Taylor and Lynn Varble. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tell City Public Library or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
