With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Z. Schaefer of Tell City, Indiana, born in Fulda, Indiana, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Z. Schaefer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Zoglman and Edrina Zoglman (Fetter); her great grandchild Jillian; her husband Linus A. Schaefer; her granddaughter Jillian Kirschbaum; and her siblings, Maxine Kessans, Alice Mae Zoglman, Lester, Alvin, Renus and Richard Zoglman.

She is survived by : her sons, Larry Schaefer (Jackie) and Terry Schaefer (Jane); her brother-in-law Denny Kessans; her grandchildren, Jeanna Shirkey (Mike), Logan Harth (Sara) and Brittney Carter (Matt); her great grandchildren, Lydia, Abigayle, Haylee, Brayden Collinsworth, Aubrey, Kyleigh Harth, Jade, Brynn Carter, Ava and Noah Kirschbaum; and also Anthony.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Huber Funeral Home - Tell City (1139 12th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (824 Jefferson St, Tell City, IN 47586).
