He was predeceased by : his parents, James Adkins and Effie "Thelma" Adkins (Cambron). He is survived by : his children, Cindy Herrmann of Tell City, Bob Adkins (Bobbie) of Tell City and Ron Adkins of Tell City; his close friend Jeanie George; his sisters, Bonnie Wene of Soddy Daisy, TN and Sharon Alvey (Ronnie); and his grandchildren, Evan "Skippy" Adkins, James Adkins (Jaylynn Bryant), Lainey Rose, Rylan Monroe Adkins and Jeff Kendall.
