It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mel Weedman (Tell City, Indiana), born in Cannelton, Indiana, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Mose" Weedman and Vadie E. Weedman (Sanders); and his sister Anna "Lucille" Mathena. He is survived by : his wife Judy Weedman; his children, Shannon Strack (Andrew) of Bethpage, TN and Steven M. Weedman; his stepdaughter Becky Weintraut (Andy); his sister Wanda Kellems; his grandchildren, Katie (Steve), Melissa, Timmy, Tylar (Mackensey), Abbey, Alexandria (Cody) and Paige; and his siblings, William Donald Weedman, Lajuana Cobb and Verna Elizabeth Weedman. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
