It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Suzie Salonen of Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Harmon and Mary Ellen Harmon; and her siblings, Jack Harmon, Anne Harmon and Peggy Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Salonen; her son Jason Atwood; her daughter-in-law Daphne Atwood; her granddaughter Rowan Atwood; her brothers, Pat Harmon (Patti) of Brandon, MS, Mike Harmon of Tell City, IN and Tom Harmon of Ocean Springs, MS.; and her close friends, Marla Russell and Sue Harden. She is also survived by extended family including gobs of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Danville Boat Club (15750 Boat Club Rd, Danville, IL 61834).
Memorial donations are encouraged to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
