Charlene Nichols Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene Nichols (Terre Haute, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charlene find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Schlup and Wanita M. Schlup; her brother Warren; and her niece Lynn. She is survived by: her children, Rick (Jerry Case) of Chicago and Michelle Engle (Mark) of Brazil, IN; her granddaughter Ariella Engle of Brazil, IN.; and her siblings, Ina Sparks (Doyle) and Chuck Schlup (Janice). She is also survived by seven nieces and their families, many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greiner Funeral Home (2005 N 13th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
