With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Gordon Hayes of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on May 22, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Landis Hayes; his sons, Robert Hayes (Denise) of Fort Wayne, IN and Thomas Hayes (Regina) of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Matthew Hayes, Nicholas Hayes, Lisa Sykes (Ben), David Hayes (Nicole) and Steven Hayes (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Nehemiah, Alex, Paige and Rhys; and his sister-in-law Sonia Murphy of Indianapolis.
