With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Whitney Jr. of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on September 18, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Charlie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Whitney and Matha Whitney (Stiff); and his brother Michael Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Whitney (Lessmann); his children, Charlie Whitney III, Cherlynn Young and Deron Young; and his sister Trina Simpson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
