He was predeceased by : his parents, Delbert Sykes and Violet Smith Sykes; his brother Dick Sykes; and his niece Brenda Jasmin. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Deckard Sykes of Terre Haute; his daughter Heather Schrock (Brad) of Martinsville, IN.; his sister Nancy Albin of New Jersey; his siblings-in-law, Anne Sykes of Clinton, Carmen Walden of Cleveland, OH. and Frank Deckard (Karen) of Terre Haute; and his grandchildren, Morgan and Jackson Schrock.
