It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leatrice Anne Reyher-Long of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred L. Modlin and Kathryn Hale Modlin; her former life partner William B. Reyher; her husband Taylor Long, Jr.; her brother Roland Hale Modlin; her siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Reyher, Betty V. Muncie, Sue Ann Long, Rita Alsop, Robert F. Reyher, Jack Reyher, George Alsop, Carl Long, Tom Long, Louis Long and Ralph Long; and her stepsons, Jeffrey J. Long and Michael Long.
She is survived by : her children, Kay Anne Beehler, Stephen M. Cooksey (Valerie) of Annapolis, MD, Mark M. Reyher (Janna), Michael W. Reyher (Susan) of Carrollton, GA, Kehrt C. Reyher (Marzenna), Lelow and William L. "Billy" Reyher of Carrollton, GA; her grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Beehler, Jason Beehler, Jennifer Acord, Dr. Tammy, Brooke Mervine, Marshall P. Reyher and Taduesz "Teddy" W. Reyher; her great grandchildren, Alyssa DePasquale and Gavin Acord; her grandchildren, Violet and Rhett Smith-Beehler; her stepchildren, Linda A. Long, Patrick Long (Sandy), Bettie Ann Long, Steve Long, Bridget Boling (Ken), John Long (Debbie) and Bart Long; and her brother-in-law Larry Long (Becky). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen or the Terre Haute Boys & Girls Club.
