With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Elizabeth Cummings (Terre Haute, Indiana), who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lucille Elizabeth may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Liston and Ora Clark Chaille; her children, Rev. Cathy Cummings Chisholm of Idaho Falls, ID and Clark Cummings (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Wendy Chisholm, Zachary Chisholm, Chaille Cummings Hymes and J. D. Cummings. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home (605 S 25th St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (7500 N Clinton St, Terre Haute, IN 47805). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Centenary United Methodist Church (301 N 7th St, Terre Haute, IN 47807).
