He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helman (Barrett) and Louis Helman. He is survived by: his brother Michael Helman; his sister-in-law Susan Helman; his sibling's children, Michael Helman (Amanda) and Melissa Brown (Eric); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gideon Brown (Rachael), Parker Brown, Isabella Brown (Nolan) and Eleanor Helman.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph University Parish (113 S 5th St, Terre Haute, IN 47807). A Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Joseph's Catholic Church or the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
