He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Stevens and Nelson Kennedy Sr.; his brother Michael Paul Kennedy; his grandparents, Evelyn, Elmer Carlyle and Norma; his mother-in-law Terri Day; his uncles, Chuck Carlyle and Bob Laycock; his aunt Delores Carlyle; his great-aunt Dottie Haney; and his friend Walter Horne.
He is survived by: his fiancée Sarah Day; his children, Cadence, Abel and Kiera; his siblings, Charity Kennedy (Josh), Stason Kennedy of Greencastle and Jessica Cable (Ben); his nieces, Serena Cable and Stacie Lowe; his brothers-in-law, Adam Ankrom (Loretta) of New Philadelphia, OH and Josh Arthurs of New Philadelphia, OH; his aunts and uncles, Everett Stevens, Elmer Carlyle, Rick Kennedy (Connie), Kevin Kennedy, Paul "Bub" Kennedy, Tim Fields, Janet Stevens, Sandy Haney (Mark), Cheryl Hettlinger (Frank), Karen Myers and Brenda Wright; his stepfather Tom Bolton (Roxie); and his close friends, JJ Horne and Levi Wells.
