He is survived by: his children, Catherine Eberly (Bruce) of Terre Haute, Peter Priest II (Yelena) of Terre Haute and Cynthia Priest of Terre Haute; his grandchildren, Christopher, Mindy, April, David and Kristen; his great grandchildren, Brennan, Casey, Jared, Francesca, Scarlett and Olivia; and his brother David Fowler Hopkins Priest.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial United Methodist Church (2701 Poplar St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
