She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Akers and Ida Akers; her husband John McKamey, Sr.; her sons, John McKamey, Jr. and Tony McKamey; and her granddaughter Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Rose McKamey (Anita), Gary McKamey (Rittie) and Andrea Taylor; her grandson Joe "John" McKamey (Jorge); and her children, Maylana Smith, Crystal Reliford (Shea), Billie Joe Epple, Aaron McKamey, Haley McKamey, Brandon Sherrill (Baylie), Bailey Sherrill (Hannah) and Brice Taylor. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
