He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Nickens and Grace Nickens (Miller); and his siblings, Gerald Nickens, Harold Nickens, Linda Motteler and Dorothy Nickens.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Little; his children, Samantha Nickens of Owensboro, KY, Mellisa Barrera of Owensboro, KY and John David Nickens; his sister Ruby Stermier of Richmond, IN; and his grandchildren, Christopher Barrera, Cisco Nickens and Aaliyah Nickens.
