Marjorie Scarborough Obituary
We bid farewell to Marjorie Scarborough of Union Mills, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Marjorie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Amor and Mary Amor (Bealor); her sons, Ray and Bart Scarborough; and her siblings, Virginia Gemberling, Elverta Coyer, Keith, Russell and Alan Amor.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Scarborough of Union Mills, Renee Sarver (Jack) of Wanatah and Rachel Gonzales (John) of Union Mills; her daughter-in-law Anita Scarborough of La Porte; and her grandchildren, Shanon Scarborough (Lisa) of Koontz Lake, Cori Walker (Ron) of La Porte, Joshua Scarborough of Michigan City, Jyll McNiel (John) of Plymouth, Elizabeth Zbuka of Wanatah, Buck Sarver of Wanatah, Jonathan Gonzales (Rebecca) of Union Mills and Meggan Scarborough of La Porte. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great, great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Salem Cemetery (3501 IN-4, La Porte, IN 46350).
