He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Richards and Irene E. Richards (Smith); and his sibling's children, Diana K. Baker, Dennis Baker and Bryan Richards.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ethel Baker, Carol Stroup, Nancy Dumpert (John) and Wayne Richards (Betty); and his nephews, Tony Baker (Julia), Jim Dumpert (Kellie), Rod Stroup, Rich Stroup (Melanie), Kenny Dumpert (Sara) and Brad Richards (Megan).
