She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Dirksen and Linus Dirksen; her siblings, Mary Peterman, Bertha Dirksen, Richard Dirksen and Gerald Dirksen; her parents-in-law, Forest Niccum and Matilda Niccum; her brothers-in-law, Roman Peterman, Robert Niccum and James Niccum; and her nephew Michael Peterman.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles "Chuck" Niccum; her children, Sheryl "Sherrie" Niccum, John Niccum, Tom Niccum (Jessica) and Andy Niccum (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Amelia, Haylee, Elias, Blake, Isaiah, Lucy, Brody, Maya, Xavier and Ben.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (209 S Spring St, Hartford City, IN 47343). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Holy Family Catholic Church in Gas City.
