Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alvin Victor Hackman (Vallonia, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 89, on February 16, 2020. He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Hackman and Esther Otting Hackman; his wife Dorothy Louise Pollert Hackman; his daughter Marcia Sitterding; his siblings, Melba Klosterman (Victor) and Paul Hackman (Mary); and his brother-in-law Noble Stuckwisch.

He is survived by : his son Denver Hackman (Diane); his son-in-law Paul Sitterding; his brother Charlie Hackman (Laverne); his siblings-in-law, Grace Stuckwisch and Kenneth Pollert (Elsie); and his grandchildren, Daniel Sitterding (Erica), Ben Sitterding, Rachel Sitterding (Brad), Rebekah Cutter (Kwin), Hannah Hackman, Justin Fleetwood and Sarah Fleetwood (Kamron). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; & several nieces & nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Lutheran Central School.
