With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garland Compton of Vallonia, Indiana, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jason Compton and Ella Ball Compton; his wife Mildred Shelton Compton; and his siblings, Hulin Compton and Latrieve Campbell.

He is survived by : his sons, Charles James Compton (Patricia) of Vallonia, IN, Lonnie Lee Compton of Nobelsville, IN and Mark Allen Compton; and his sister Jeannette Lewis of Somerset, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
