He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert "Buck" Rice and Lena Burgess Rice; and his children, Lora and David Rice. He is survived by : his wife Rita Rice; his children, Angela Wheeles (Stephen) and Uriah Rice; and his stepchildren, Dwayne, Deanna, Barbara and Jeana Locke. He is also survived by 4 sisters, 2 half-brothers, 1 half-sister; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
