He was predeceased by : his parents, Armando Martinez and Naomi Martinez (Silva); his parents-in-law, Martin and Antonia Vega; his siblings, Ascencion Tristan, Sara Pabey and Joseph Martinez (Chato); and his brother-in-law Steve Funkhouser.
He is survived by : his wife Dr. Sandra Martinez (Vega); his daughter Jessica Valle (Noe); his grandsons, Armando Martinez of Valparaiso, IN, Cristian Martinez of Valparaiso, IN and Estevan Valle of Valparaiso, IN; his siblings, Josephine Martinez (Raymond) of Porter, IN, Ernest Martinez (late Rosie) of East Chicago, IN, Fernando Martinez (Elizabeth) of Crown Point, IN, Margaret Gutierrez (Gilbert) of East Chicago, IN, Teresa Guevara (Eusebio) of LaPorte, IN, Steve (Paz Maria) of Glendale, CA and Domingo Martinez (Joy) of Lowell, IN; and his close friends, Hilda and Henry Chung of Casa Geande, AZ.. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
