Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Hood (Valparaiso, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 82, on March 17, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Blastick and Lela Blastick (Ols); and her husband James Russell Hood. She is survived by : her daughters, Kathy Martin (Glenn) of Jamestown, TN and Joanne Marshall (Kim) of Valparaiso; her grandchildren, Josh Martin (Joti) and Megan Miller (Mark); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Alliana Miller and Jovyn Martin; and her siblings, Wade Blastick (Phyllis) and Karen Sutton. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dunes Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
