She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Dwight Shields and Mary Shields; her children, Miss Melissa Marchand, Racheal Rossi (Peter Rossi) and Dr. Jeremy Marchand (Emily Marchand); her grandchildren, Makai and Josephina Rossi; and her sisters, Pamela Spagnoli, Sandra Novak and Adrina Niederst. She was also cherished by the birds, critters, and stray animals that made their way through her yard, and replacing her children with dogs.
