She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin E. and Mary K. Alexander (Kincaid); her husband David A. Lawson; and her children, Kevin Lawson and Emily Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Samantha Burke (Branden) and Jeffrey Lawson; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Libbie" Lawson and Beckman Burke.
