She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow Wampler and Marcella Wampler (Welsch); her children, Thearon Miller and Carol Pierce; and her sisters, Rosemary and Dorothy.

She is survived by : her spouse Russell Cook; her children, Melvin Miller (Michelle) of Kansas, Gary Miller of Kansas and Randel Cook (Kim) of Westville, IN; and her siblings, Sonia Sittingdown, Woody Wampler, Eddie Wampler and Sharon Morones.

Memorial donations may be made in Ellie May's name to Dunes Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
