He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Echterling; his children, Kellie Mallas (Manuel), Lauren Mallas (Ed Werner), Rachel, VanDyke, Maureen Mallas, Colleen Sterling (Jeff), Natalie Lloyd (Elliott), Mary Kate, Lindsay Sterling, Emily Sterling, Kevin O'Laughlin (Tracy), Ryan O'Laughlin (Kayla), Raylen, Conor O'Laughlin, Dan O'Laughlin (Michelle), Calea O'Laughlin, Carter O'Laughlin, Tom O'Laughlin (Valerie), Erin and Tim; and his sister Lee Ann Strain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
