It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lolkema of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ooms and Susan Ooms. She is survived by: her husband Pete Lolkema; her children, Bonnie Newland (Garry), Bryan Lolkema (Kerrie) and Brenda Moon (Scott); her grandchildren, Cory Newland (Lindsey), Kevin Newland (Tracy), Katie Goodpaster (Chris), Kallie Lolkema, Kara Moon and Kalan Moon (Molly); and her sisters, Jean Ravesloot (Duke) and Janice Weaver (Don). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Highland Christian School.
