She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sterrett and Gladys Sterrett (Anderson); her husband William Allen Heinecke; and her brother Thomas Sterrett, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Budnik of Valparaiso and Laurie Walters of San Antonio, TX; her sister Mary Lecker of Tipp City, OH; and her grandchildren, Nathan Budnik, David Budnik, Rebecca Budnik and Abigail Walters.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
