With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Patricia Brooks of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Emil Yovanovich and Martha Yovanovich (Toth); and her granddaughter Kelly Mercaldo. She is survived by : her husband Richard A. Brooks; her children, Rebecca Wilfong (Wade), Kimberly Schuster (Bill), Richard Brooks (Joanne), Jim Brooks (Doug), John Brooks (Kimberly) and Nancy Brooks; and her sister Martha Lewis. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1855 Harrison Blvd, Valparaiso, IN 46385). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Agnes Day Service Center (https://www.stagnesvalpo.org), Valparaiso.
