He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Herrmann and Augusta Kirchner Herrmann; his siblings, Waldo Herrmann, Paul Herrmann, Terry Saez and Rhoda Herrmann; and his son Timothy D. Herrmann.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris M. Herrmann (Dee) of Columbus; his sons, Eric Herrmann (Lorrie) and Mark A. Herrmann; and his grandchildren, Timothy A. Herrmann and Jennifer E. Herrmann.
