She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Charles Mahaffey (Patti) of Valparaiso, Mark Mahaffey (Debbi) of Valparaiso, Cheryl Hescher (Rick Farias) of Valparaiso and David Mahaffey (Dawn) of Chesterton; and her sister Dorothy Forbes (Philip Kellar). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
